Elon Musk has reclaimed his title
as the world's richest person after losing taht position to
Louis Vuitton CEO Bernard Arnault late last year. Musk’s net worth
dropped by over $200 billion between
November and December 2022. However, a surge in
Tesla shares helped him
return to the number one spot. The Tesla chief’s net worth is now
$187
billion, surpassing Mr Arnault's $184
billion wealth.

CEO of LVMH,
Bernard
Arnault, with a net worth of
$184 billion, according to Bloomberg. The
French billionaire
became the
world’s richest person in December 2022 and held the top spot for
more
than two months. However, he has once again been dethroned by Musk.
LVMH is the world's largest luxury goods company, overseeing nearly 70
fashion and cosmetics brands.
3. Jeff Bezos - $117 billion

CEO of Amazon,
American billionaire Jeff
Bezos is the third-richest in the world with a wealth of
$117 billion. Bezos founded
e-commerce giant Amazon in 1994 and stepped down as CEO in July 2021 to
become the executive chairman. Amazon had revenue of $514 billion in 2022, according to Bloomberg.

$28.6 billion worth
of Microsoft stock, a little over 1% of the company, according to

the world’s richest person from 2010 to 2013. As of 2023, he is the
ninth-richest, with a wealth of
$83.3 billion. The billionaire and his family have
extensive holdings in several Mexican companies via their
multi-industry company –
Grupo Carso – in which they hold a 79% stake,
according to Forbes. Slim also owned 17% of The New York Times before
selling it.
10. Mukesh Ambani - $81 billion
The only Indian on
the list is
Mukesh Ambani with a wealth of
$81 billion, according to Bloomberg. The founder and chairman of
Reliance Industries, India's most valuable company by market value,
Ambani also owns the Mumbai Indians team in the IPL. Reliance
Industries has diverse businesses including energy, natural gas,
telecommunications, textiles and retail.
