The University of Dar es Salaam Computing Centre (UCC) is an Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Company owned by the University of Dar es Salaam (UDSM). UCC was established in 1999. UCC headquarter is located at UDSM’s Julius Kambarage Nyerere Mlimani Campus. To ensure greater outreach to Tanzanians, UCC is having a branch in Dodoma, the Capital City of Tanzania.

The University of Dar es Salaam Computing Centre (UCC) is accredited training institution by NACTVET with Registration No. REG/EOS/026. UCC invites applications from qualified candidates who have completed form four, form six or Certificate courses in related fields from recognized Institutions to apply for Certificate and Diploma Programmes (NTA 4-6). These Programmes are offered under Competence Based Education and Training (CBET) system.

Therefore, Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to pursue the following Programmes:

a) Certificate in Business Information Technology (1 Year) – NTA 4
Certificate of Secondary Education with at least four (4) passes in non–religious subjects OR National Vocational Training Award Level III (Trade Test Grade I) from any recognized institution

b) Certificate in Computing and Information Technology (1 Year) - NTA 4
Certificate of Secondary Education with at least four (4) passes in non–religious subjects OR National Vocational Training Award Level III (Trade Test Grade I) from any recognized institution

c) Diploma in Business Information Technology (2 Years) - NTA 5 & 6
Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education with at least one principal pass and a subsidiary OR Basic Technician Certificate (NTA Level 4) in Business Administration, Accountancy, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology from any recognized institution.

d) Diploma in Computing and Information Technology (2 years) - NTA 5 & 6
Advanced Certificate of Secondary Education with at least one principal pass and a subsidiary OR Basic Technician Certificate (NTA Level 4) in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or Information Technology from any recognized institution.

MODE OF APPLICATION:
All eligible candidates can appy through Online at https://ucc.admission.ac.tz OR can download the application form by clicking the link admission-form-for-diploma-certificate or collect the application form physically from our UCC offices at Dar es Salaam Campus or Dodoma Campus, and return it together with copies of relevant certificates and a receipt of non-refundable application fee of Tshs 10,000/= as directed in the application form.

The Programmes for March intake will be conducted at two UCC Campuses:
a) Dar es Salaam Campus (UCC headquarter) located at UDSM’s Julius Kambarage Nyerere Mlimani Campus.
b) Dodoma Campus located at NIC Building, First Floor, Mtendeni Street, Dodoma
