The National Examinations Council (Necta) has closed 24 schools as national examination centers after it was proven that they planned to cheat in the std seven national examination.

The schools that were invalved in the froud adds upto 0.13 percent of all examination centers in the country, including famous schools such as Musabe in Mwanza and St Anne Marie in Dar es Salaam and Rweikiza school in Kagera region. This was said by the Acting Executive Secretary of Necta, Athuman Amasi when he announced the results of the std national exam..

The list of schooles that were involved in the mulpractice are:- (Majina ya shule zilizohusika na udanganyifu huo na ambazo zimefungiwa ni:-)

  2. Rweikiza (Bukoba)
  3. Kilimanjaro primary school (Arusha)
  4. Sahare (Tanga)
  5. Ukerewe (Mwanza)
  6. Peaceland (Mwanza)
  7. Karume (Kagera)
  8. Rweikiza school in Kagera region
  9. Al-hikma (Dar es Salaam)
  10. St Anne Marie in Dar es Salaam
  11. Kazoba (Kagera)
  12. Mugini (Mwanza)
  13. Busara (Mwanza)
  14. Jamia (kagera)
  15. Winners (Mwanza)
  16. Musabe (Mwanza)
  17. Elisabene (Songwe)
  18. High Challenge (Arusha)
  19. Tumaini (Mwanza)
  20. Olele ( Mwanza)
  21. Mustlead (Coast)
  22. Moregas (Mara)
  23. Leaders (Mara)
  24. Kivulini (Mwanza)
  25. St Severine (Kagera) schools.
"These centers have been closed in accordance with section 4(8) of the examination regulations in 2016 until the Council is satisfied that it is safe for them to conduct  national examinations," Executive Secretary of Necta Athuman Amasi said. Source - mwananchi
