The list of questions to help you analyze any failure: What lessons have I learned?, Am I grateful for this experience?, How can I turn the failure into success?

Practically speaking, where do I go from here?, Who else has failed in this way before, and how can that person help me?, How can my experience help others someday to keep from failing?, Did I fail because of another person, because of my situation, or because of myself? Did I actually fail, or did I fall short of an unrealistically high standard?, Where did I succeed as well as fail?

HOW TO IMPROVE YOUR MEMORY

One of the most amazing things about the human brain is how it has the unlimited ability to pick on new things, this is why it is possible to master a new concept. Just because you have finished all the university degrees you wanted to, it doesn’t mean your learning has to stop there. The brain isn’t only malleable to pick up new things but it is something that can actually improve your memory and it allows you to get better at so many different things in life. Anyone who will tell you that learning is for the young hasn’t taken the time to try something new.

IMPROVE YOUR MEMORY BY WRITING THINGS DOWN

The brain has a tendency to slow down on memories when it gets overwhelmed with thoughts. They don’t necessarily have to be negative, what affects the brain is an overflow of ideas and this can make it harder for you to hold onto the things that are already in your brain. Learning to “spring clean” your brain to leave it clear. One of the best way to do this is grabbing a piece of paper, a notebook or a journal and actually vent on the paper and let things go. At the end of everyday take the notebook and write down these ideas and thoughts and let them all out. This clears your brain so that the thoughts don’t pile up in your mind making it much easier for you to forget important facts and details. Creative people have notebooks and diaries they carry around and in them they write down ideas or draw sketches. This is both a creative exercise but also a healthy one because it means that you don’t forget some of the most important ideas you come up and you don’t create this huge back log of thoughts which can threaten your memory.

IMPROVE YOUR MEMORY BY DOING THE EXERCISE

Exercise promotes the development of a brain chemical called norepinephrine, which has a strong influence and impact on memory. So when you’re working out your body you are also working out your brain as well, it’s a win-win. Exercise also helps people relieve their stress so that their brains don’t come under the pressure of anxiety and stress. When people finish workouts they often talk about how good they feel, this also has an impact on how we retain our memories and it makes forgetting things less likely.

HOW TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN LIFE

HOW TO BE SUCCESSFUL IN LIFE People’s beliefs about their abilities have a profound effect on those abilities. Ability is not a fixed property; there is a huge variability in how you perform. People who have a sense of self-efficacy bounce back from failure; they approach things in terms of how to handle them rather than worrying about what can go wrong. Albert Bandura, US psychologist (b.1925). Share on WhatsApp | Share On Twitter 13 Things Mentally Strong People Don’t Do On Their Walk To Success 1. They Don’t Waste Time Feeling Sorry for Themselves Mentally strong people don’t sit around feeling sorry about their circumstances or how others have treated them. Instead, they take responsibility for their role in life and understand that life isn’t always easy or fair. 2. They Don’t Give Away Their Power They don’t allow others to control them, and they don’t give someone else power over them. They don’t say things like, “My boss makes me feel bad,” because they understa...

How to write a dissertation - writting a successful thesis

How to write a successful thesis or dissertation The selection of a suitable topic is the first major step in writing a thesis or dissertation. For some students this is an easy task. They have known what they wanted to study from the time they entered college and perhaps even before, but for many others, selecting a thesis or dissertation topic is one of the most difficult parts of their graduate programs. The thought of developing a “completely original” idea for such a large-scale project may seem overwhelming to them. The notion that a dissertation must be completely original is a misconception, for no research is completely original. All research is based on the work of others to some extent. In fact, the most useful kind of research simply builds on research that has already been done. Some of the most successful theses and dissertations simply extend the knowledge base one step further in an area by examining a new variable within a well-established line of inqu...

The youth of today - The youth of the 21st century

7 values the youth of today lack Values are the rules we use to decide what is right and wrong, good and bad, real and true . They get passed down the generations, not by genes, but by patterns of care. For example, parents who steal tend to have offspring who do so too, or who believe stealing is acceptable or even admirable. However, not all children of thieving parents also thieve, and siblings differ in the extent to which they imitate their parents in this and all other respects. It is also the case that plenty of offspring of honest parents are dishonest. So the passing of values from parent to child is not simply a question of imitation or learning – it is also heavily affected by the manner in which parents communicate the values as part of the relationship with the child.  Usually parents encourage offspring to be law-abiding, civil and sociable, and to do well at school. All these goals are infinitely more likely to be achieved if the child actually ...
