It is with pleasure that I welcome you to Catholic University College of Mbeya (CUCoM), A Constituent College of St. Augustine University of Tanzania. Our mission is instil to students the spirit of commitment, responsibility, and values which foster skills development and knowledge acquisition to the national and international standards.

CUCoM is located in Mbeya Region with two extensions. Extension “A” of the University College is located at the Mwanjelwa-Forest area, Plot Number 1737, Block “M”, while extension “B” is located at Nzovwe-New Forest Area, Plot Number 143, Block “R”, both in Mbeya City.

I invite you to explore the outstanding teaching, support, flexibility and a wide range of academic programmes and extra-curricular offerings which CUCoM has. Generations of students, staff and alumni have built our reputation, and I am confident that the CUCoM community of today and tomorrow will add to this prestigious reputation which CUCoM has built and established over the years.

Catholic University College of Mbeya (CUCoM) Programmes & Admission Requirements

Bachelor of Arts with Education
  • Two principal passes in the following subjects: Kiswahili, English, History, Geography, Advanced Mathematics or Economics.
Bachelor of Business Administration
  • Two principal passes in the following subjects: History, Geography, Kiswahili, English Language, Arabic, Fine Arts, Economics, Commerce, Accountancy, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Advanced Mathematics, Agriculture, Computer Science or Nutrition. If one of the principals is not Advanced Mathematics an applicant must have a minimum of “D” grade in Basic Mathematics at O-Level.
Bachelor of laws
  • Two principal passes in the following subjects: History, Geography, Kiswahili, English Language, Arabic, French, Fine Arts, Economics, Commerce, Accountancy, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Advanced Mathematics, Agriculture, Computer Science or Nutrition. If one of the principals is not English an applicant must have a minimum of “D” grade in English at O-Level.
Bachelor of Accounting and Finance
  • Two principal passes in the following subjects: History, Geography, Economics, Commerce, Accountancy, Physics, Chemistry, Biology or Advanced Mathematics. If one of the principals is not Advanced Mathematics an applicant must have a subsidiary pass in Advanced Mathematics/Basic Applied Mathematics at A- Level or a “D” grade in Basic Mathematics at O-Level
Bachelor of Human Resource Management
  • Two principal passes in the following subjects: English, History, Geography, Kiswahili, Economics, Commerce, Accounting, Chemistry, Biology, Physics, Mathematics.
Bachelor of Arts in Project Planning and Management for Community Development
  • Two principal passes in the following subjects: Economics, Geography, History, Commerce, Accounting, Advanced Mathematics, Kiswahili, Nutrition, French  Agriculture, Biology, English Language, Literature, Physics, Chemistry, Arabic, Fine Arts, Computer Science or Physical Education
