OPPORTUNITIES TO JOIN THE ARMY

2026 Jeshi la Ulinzi la Wananchi wa Tanzania (JWTZ) latangaza nafasi za kuandikishwa Jeshini kwa vijana wa kitanzania

 
The Tanzanian National Defense Force is announcing opportunities to join the Army for young Tanzanians with education from Form Four to Master's Degree who have completed the JKT Volunteer Training Agreement and returned home.(Vijana wa Kitanzania wenye elimu ya kuanzia Kidato cha Nne hadi Shahada ya Uzamili ambao wamemaliza Mkataba wa Mafunzo ya Kujitolea JKT na kurudishwa majumbani). Bellow are the required qualifications to be enlisted in the army.

QUALIFICATIONS OF THE APPLICANT

Tanzanian youth who are interested to be enlisted in the Army must have the following qualifications:-
  • Be a Tanzanian citizen by birth with a National Identity Card.

  • Must be 18 to 25 years old for those with education from Form Four to Form Six and age not exceeding 27 years for those with higher education.

  • Have good health and sound mind.

  • He should be a Tanzanian with good behavior and discipline, he has not been found guilty of criminal offenses in Court and imprisoned.

  • He should have an original birth certificate (Original Birth Certificate), School certificates and Professional certificates.

  • He has not served in the Police Force, Prisons, Training College or Special Anti-Smuggling Force (KMKM).

  • He should not be married.

  • He has graduated from the training of the National Building Force with a two (2) year volunteer contract and has been awarded a certificate. Those JKT youths in the camps who already have qualifications, their registration process is done differently from the youths in the homes that this announcement is about.

APPLICATION PROCEDURE

All applications must be written by hand and submitted to Army Headquarters Dodoma from the date of this announcement until March 20, 2023 with the following attachments:- (Maombi yote yaandikwe kwa mkono na yawasilishwe Makao Makuu ya Jeshi Dodoma kuanzia tarehe ya tangazo hili hadi tarehe 20 Machi, 2023 yakiwa na viambatisho vifuatavyo):-
  • Copy of National Identity Card or NIDA number.
  • Copy of birth certificate, School and College certificates.
  • Copy of JKT certificate.
  • Applicant's mobile phone number.
