The Pharmacy Council is a Government institution under the Ministry of Health established through Article No. 3 of the Pharmacy Law, Chapter 311. Baraza la Famasia Tanzania

Bellow is the exam rsults for (matokeo ya mtihani wa Results For Pre-Registration and Professional Examinations Conducted from 18th to 20th October 2023 and Schedule For Upcoming Examinations)

Intern Pharmacists

Pharmaceutical Technicians, Assistants and Pharmaceutical Dispensers

NOTE:
  1. Candidates who have passed all three (3) examinations shall be required to apply for registration, enrolment or enlisting through form PCF1 available at www.pc.go.tz
  2. Candidates who have one or two supplementary examinations shall be required to pass the examinations within two years from the first sitting. If you wish to re - sit the failed examinations shall apply for next examination through provided link available at         https://www.pc.go.tz/applications/professionalexams.php
  3. Candidates who failed all the three (3) examinations and wish to re – sit, shall apply after six (06) Months from the first sitting;
  4. Candidates who are disqualified from the examinations shall be required to re-apply after one (01) Year
  5. Other terms and conditions for the examinations are as they appear in the Guidelines for Conducting Pre – registration and Professional Examinations of 2019.
  6. Examination fee is TZS. 160,000/= for new applicants; and TZS. 50,000/= for each examination for re-sitters. In the application process a control number for payment will automatically be generated.
  7. All re-sitters MUST use the same accounts used in previous application for examinations. Re-sitters that will open and use new accounts their applications SHALL NOT BE APPROVED.
  8. Candidates who wishes to postpone from siting for examinations after application, shall be required to submit the notes to Pharmacy Councils’ Offices at least two weeks before the date of examination;
  9. Applicants for next examinations are required to upload certified copies of the following documents:-
(a) For Intern Pharmacists;
Birth certificate, O-Level certificate, A-Level Certificate, Certificate from recognized University or Certificate of Recognition, NIDA Number, evidence of internship completion and any other relevant document.
(b) For Pharmaceutical Technicians, Assistants and Pharmaceutical Dispensers;
Birth Certificate, O-Level certificate, award certificate in pharmaceutical sciences and full academic transcript.

All the candidates are required to have:-
  • Each candidate will be required to have a National or Voter ID or Driver's License or original Form Four Certificate with photo for the day all of the exams, all of which are ORIGINAL and NOT COPIES. Candidate those who fail to meet this criterion will not be allowed to take the exam.
  • Each candidate must present an ID card with the test number from his test application account that he will be required to have throughout the exams in line with the credentials specified there up.
  • Blue or black pen, Pencil, Ruler & Calculator
