The school offers a foundation in computer application during instruction in various subjects. Therefore, you must have hands on experience in the use of computers in preparation of audio-visual materials
1. Qualification and expertise
- Ability to teach any class at ease.
- A minimum of diploma in primary education. Other relevant qualifications are an added advantage.
- Must be registered with Ministry of Education
- At least 6 years of stable working experience in a primary school
2. Planning
- Competent in the thematic and national curriculum.
- Competent in ICT
3. Lesson delivery
- Proven learner academic transformation and achievement of targets.
- Effective classroom management.
- Embedding and encouraging higher order thinking along with teaching foundation skills, Proactive classroom management
4. Assessment, Monitoring and Evaluation
- Ability to set high quality assessments
- Ability to accurately judge learner’s responses
- Ability to set remedial activities to address any content gaps
5. Guidance and counseling
- Culturally sensitive, having a positive regard to students and colleagues.
- Effective discipline and classroom management skills
6. Leadership
- Ability to set high class standards and attain them.
- Creative and innovative in designing class tools that aim at producing learners with sound values/morals.
- Good communication, presentation skills and command of the English language (spoken and written).
