Congratulations to those who have been selected to join form one boarding schools in Tanzania after completing the journey of seven good years learning at primary school. 

We wish you every success as you endevour to pursue the Ordinary Level learning process at various secondary schools in Tanzania.

MAELEKEZO YA KUJIUNGA KIDATO CHA KWANZA 2024 KWA WANAFUNZI WA BWENI

In the Republic of Tanzania there are two broad types of schools; Boarding schools which accommodates the students admitted in hostels and Day schools which admits the students who attend their studies from their home.

Three categories of Boarding schools in Tanzania - Which admits the students with the average of grade "A"

• Special Schools - The are the government schools that admits students with high performance and as of the year 2022 in Tanzania those schools are seven (7)  namely:- Msalato, Mzumbe,Kilakala, Kibaha, Ilboru, Tabora Wasichana na Tabora Wavulana.

• Boarding Technical schools (Shule za Sekondari za Bweni Ufundi) - Tanga Tech, Moshi Tech, Musoma Tech, Bwiru Tech, Ifunda Tech, Iyunga Tech, Mtwara Tech, Mwadui Tech na Chato Tech.

• Normal boarding schools (Shule za Sekondari za Bweni Kawaida) - Currently in Tanzania there are 22 normal boading schools

The selections of students to the boarding schools are done according to the spaces available (capacity) in the respective schools so not all students who score the average of "A" are admitted. This year a total of 4,224 which is equivalent to 0.39% have been selected to join boarding schools

All the students selected to join boarding schools to report on 07th January, 2023 while those selected to join day schools to report on 09th January 2023
